Isolée en pleine et belle nature, une maison-atelier abrite un univers de créativité unique ; shine mosaïque. À l’extérieur, une jument, un cheval et un âne. Faisant des allers et retours, deux chiens et quatre chats observent les activités.

A l’intérieur deux artistes, laurence cappelli et Graziella PIZZI, nées respectivement en 1968 et 1967, travaillent dans leur atelier shine mosaïque depuis 1994. Après avoir suivi des études d’art plastiques, elles ont découvert la richesse des possibilités d’expression au travers de cette technique. Toutes deux n’hésitent pas à conjuguer une multitude de matériaux.

Each mosaic finds its source in the desire to tell a story, to provoke an emotion which intensifies throughout its creation. From the moment an idea is born to the finished work, the passing of time adds richness and depth. The construction of a mosaic starts with a few succinct drawings which describe the essential elements. By using universal symbols, Laurence Cappelli & Graziella Pizzi give each work an atmosphere, a language.
The last stage consists of using a combination of different techniques and materials to create a dimension that touches the viewer’s primal senses.
Their work, created using two heads and four hands, is always open to inspiration and ideas that appear during the creative process.The originality of their work enchants a growing number of clients worldwide.
